after purchasing your product i have learned that i can protect the post content, but i cannot protect a specific section of coding in actual PHP file that controls the individual posts (episodes.php in this case). i need to protect everything involving that episode.php's video embed tag so the video player will not be displayed until registered on any post other that the ones catogorized in the free sections. the <embed> is hard coded into the page and the add post is only used for a thumbnail and the address to the video file in a custom field not text content. I cannot change the theme. it took entirely too long to get this to a point where my boss likes it and there are alternatives that will protect specific parts of the coding out there (primarily PHP based though without a wordpress plugin). i just wanted to use a wordpress plugin for ease of use to the client.

I fear the plugin purchased is not compatible with my theme. Please contact me as soon as possible.

Unless an alternative is brought to my attention that will allow me to actually do this without having to change my theme then i will not be able to use it and will require a refund. There is very little support on your site on the actual setup even. i figured it would be bundled with the purchase. Which i was wrong.

the site in question is on a test server located at http://www.sodtest.com.vhost.zerolag.com and i purchased the plugin from hwear@comcast.net (for purposes to ensure you realize i am a paying customer).

Please contant me (the actualy web guy) @ JonathanWHS@msn.com

I tried looking for the answers to my questions on this site, but I can't seem to find any. I am curious about CMS Members for use with a site that I am building that requires a custom registration form, and the ability to accept payments for the registered events. It seems like it would great for this area, but I would also like to have the ability to allow registrants to pay subscriptions for premium posts. Is this something that they would have to at the time the registration is made or can they do this after the fact. Also, do I have the flexibility to have people select an event registration and a premium subscription at the time of purchase?

I'm sorry if these are layout in documentation, but I couldn't find any (not even sure if there is any). Thanks in advance.

We installed CMS Members to one of our sites yesterday (http://familycenteredliving.net). We're running WPMU 3.0 and Buddypress 1.2.5.2

We're running into a couple of issues and hope that you can help us out.

1. We'd like to modify the code so that Blog Domain and Blog Title can be optional, not always required. We didn't see those included on the "force required if shown" list. Two of our plans do not have blogging capability, while the premium one does...

2. We batch created users from another site and they're having issues upgrading their plans. They keep getting "user already exists" or "email already exists" in the "Edit Account" page when they try to upgrade.

3. We'd like to be able to batch assign our Free option to our migrated users rather than having to go in one at a time - there are hundreds of them. Then allow them choose whether or not to upgrade (without any trouble).

Can you help us out?

Yes, we know that!

30 is only a 'code' that allows CMS Members to know you need a monthly payment.
There is the same structure for year subscriptions.

There is no automatic update so you should not be worry about it.
You can make a plugin for it.

Open wwm-options.php and find a suitable action then make a usual wordpress plugin and use add_action function as usual.

If you can't find a suitable action make another options page and update/edit CMS Members fields there. See wwm-options.php structure.

If you can't even do it or you are not a programmer you should add your modifications to new file before upgrading.

CMS Members do not provide affliate system itself but you can easily integrate your site with any affiliate programs that provide js code.

for example if you have idevaffiliate:
http://www.idevdirect.com/idevaffiliate.php

You should just paste provided js code in options page.

I just purchased the CMS member plugin yesterday. I went through the program and put my questions together and came to the forum to see what I can find. First it seems like there is no timely support from the author of this plugin. It seems there are posts that have never had any response at all. And then the answers that there are seem vague. Is this what I have to expect from this company? Am I paying $9 a month for this? I heard good things about this software and it seems to do what I want but I have questions and I need them answered. Is there ANY documentation for setting up this plug in? I will post my questions in different threads.

Thanks for the support thus far. Great plugin. Quick question, is it possible to set one return url for post-payment of orders and a different one for post-payment of memberships? Somewhere in the code that I can change this? Paypal only allows for one per paypal account.

I just found another issue,
[Total Users:XX]
the total user count in CMS members page does now show the correct total value,
I got 32 members and with 26 at the 1st list and the rest at 2nd page list, but the total user shown at the top only 26.

regards.

Hello,
I've been sending recent emails and support tickets but receiving no answer. So I thought I'd try here too.

I have 2 questions.

1. I want to handle member registration via our members.oursite.com blog - not at root level.

2. Also I understand that its possible to have all the CMS Members features (such a post content control) automatically running on other blog areas of our site. This will mean we have a central member management point (members.oursite.com) but the plans created flow through to all the blogs we have.

Can you please explain how to do this?

Thanks

Paul
